Browser extension available with no security prompts

How do I configure the 1Password Firefox browser extension so it is always available? Access in the browser should not require a security prompt at any time.

I know this is not a secure configuration. Nevertheless, it is a requirement now.

Thanks,
Tom

Hello @Nishtom! 👋

Thanks for the question! There isn't a way to never be prompted to unlock 1Password but you can change your auto-lock settings so that you're prompted less often:

If you haven't already installed the 1Password desktop app then I recommend that you do so since that will allow 1Password in the browser to integrate with the desktop app and remain unlocked even if you close Firefox: Get the 1Password apps

I'd also recommend turning on Windows Hello unlock so that you don't need to enter your account password each time that you unlock 1Password: Use Windows Hello to unlock 1Password on your Windows PC

I hope that helps. 🙂

Thank you Dave.

We adjusted the settings you named. I expect with training we'll overcome user disinclination.
