On Windows, if integration with desktop app is active, it crashes Zen (as Zen is not supported, despite many many message to custom add it, like done with Comet)

Hello @Geobomatic! 👋

I'm sorry that you're seeing Zen Browser crash on your Windows PC. As you mentioned, Zen Browser isn't one of our supported browsers however I'll help as much as possible.

I've tested 1Password version 8.11.14.24 with Zen Browser 1.16.4b and I'm not seeing a crash on my Windows test device. So that I can better understand the situation can you tell me the following:

  1. Are you using the same versions of 1Password and Zen Browser that I'm using?
  2. What specific action causes Zen Browser to crash? Or does it crash randomly when you open it?
  3. Can you reproduce the issue in a supported browser like Firefox? Or does it only happen in Zen Browser?

I look forward to hearing from you.
