Can't access Github Student Developer Pack Token : 597087

Hi, I am a verified GitHub Student Developer Pack user. While trying to claim my 1Password offer, I keep getting the error: 'Something went wrong - We weren't able to authenticate with your GitHub account.' I have tried Incognito mode, clearing cache, and checked my email privacy settings, but nothing worked. Can you please help me activate my 1-year free subscription manually?"

Hi @Heijahid, thanks for reaching out about this. This will be best handled by our support team over email, to avoid the risk of sharing any of your personal data on a public forum.

I can confirm that your emails have been received, and one of my colleagues will be in touch with you there as soon as possible.

In the meantime, here are some other things you could try:

  • Try a different browser (Firefox or Safari tend to work best, or mobile Safari/Chrome).
  • Disable any browser extensions, particularly ad blockers or privacy tools.
  • Make sure you’re not using a VPN, proxy, or network with strict firewall filtering.

If you do give any of these a try, please share your findings by replying to your support ticket, rather than here.
