Can't find strong password generated by iOS

I’ve split your post into a new thread so that we can discuss the issue you’re seeing separately. I’m sorry that you’re running into trouble with the Generate Strong Passwords feature on iOS.

Once iOS generates a strong password, you should see a prompt to save the password after you submit it to the website to complete the password change. When the issue occurs, do you know if you’ve submitted the new password to the website and then saved it using the prompt that appears?

If the answer is yes, can you share some of the websites where you’ve encountered this issue?

yes, I submitted the password, and I got a confirmation on the page that the password was successfully changed.

I had to change my password for the hvv switch app of the public transportation in Hamburg.

I went to the forgot password function and received an email. There was a link to the webpage where the password can be changed. I filled in the password with the strong password function and got a confirmation that the password was successfully changed. 

Afterward, there was no dialogue of 1P to save it. I had to do the whole process again, and this time, before submitting, I copied the password manually from the password field and saved it into my 1P database. This was successful, and the login works now. Also, during the second time, no dialogue appeared.

I later found the password in Apple's own password app. But not the one from the second attempt, which I saved manually to 1P some other. So, I assume it is the password of the first attempt. In any case, very strange.

I also had to change my password on this platform since I have not been here since the transfer to the new platform. Here I also used the strong password function, and it brought up the 1P dialogue, and the password was not saved to Apple's password app.

But none of the passwords I generated that day was saved in the history of the 1P extensions password generator of Safari. 

I had this behavior already a few times that passwords have not been saved from the strong password function, so I avoided it for quite some months and tried it now again. But it seems still broken.

I have this exact same problem.  I am no longer using 1Password and have canceled my renewal until this is verified as fixed.  This is a huge issue - I’ve fallen for it 3 times and each time I have to go back and use the website’s “Forget Password” feature!!!!  It doesn’t save the password ANYWHERE.
