Can’t select search results iOS

I can’t multi-select search results

  • long press does nothing
  •  tap one search result, then hit ellipses … menu on the item > tap select
    • and now can’t do anything with the item - the item details appears to “drop down the screen” like it is special, but can’t do anything
    • no menu and no select checkboxes on the search result items

When you're at the top of any item list, drag the list down to reveal a search bar. Typing into this bar will filter the item list and show only items matching what you typed (it's like search, but a little more limited). Once you've filtered your list, you can swipe right on any one item and choose the icon to start selecting items from your filtered list.

Hello @davidcharron! 👋

Thanks for the feedback! I've filed this as a feature request for our team to look into for the future.

For the time being, if you need to move multiple items then you can use a normal item list (not search results). Alternatively you can you the desktop app to move multiple items from search results.

Thanks for sharing your solution, using the Find tool rather than the Search tool, with the community! 🙂
