Hi @marcmuellerbe

An iPhone 8 will have a Touch ID sensor, so you can use that instead of Face ID. You can find out how to set that up here:

Use Touch ID to unlock 1Password on your iPhone or iPad

You'll need to be able to unlock your iPhone with Touch ID first to allow 1Password to be able to use it. Give that a try and let me know how you get on. I'll be here if you need further help. :)

The Touch ID sensor is in the Home button below the screen. You rest your finger on it to scan a fingerprint without pressing it. Can you unlock your iPhone using Touch ID? If not, you'll need to set that up first:

Use Touch ID on iPhone and iPad – Apple Support

When you've set up Touch ID to unlock your iPhone, you can turn on Touch ID for 1Password too:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password.
  2. Tap the icon for your account or collection at the top left and choose Settings > Security.
  3. Turn on Touch ID.

If you're still having trouble, let me know and I'll be able to help you out.
