Cannot create passwords anymore

I updated my Apple Store license 1P to 7.9 and for some reasons my Brave extension did not work anymore. So Installed it newly and probably accidentally chose the wrong one, maybe the subscription one. The extension now works but I cannot create new passwords on the desktop anymore. All menu items are greyed out. Addionally I receive popups to sign up for a membership.

How can I get back to my previous setup?

Which 1Password version were you using before you updated, so we can give you the correct download link?

That was the right hint. I thought I had the App Store version, actually I bought the license. Downloaded 1P 7 classic and everything is now back to normal. Thanks.
