After following the instructions in the pop-up window, the button needed to permanently. delete the vault is grayed out.

Ideas?

Hi there @camner

My guess is that you might have created that vault in 1Password for iOS. iOS substitutes plain apostrophes – ' – to a smart apostrophe - , but your Mac won't, which is why they don't match in this case.

It can be tricky to see the difference between the two, but that seems to be what's happening.

Rather than trying to find how to type a single smart apostrophe on your Mac, it'll be easier to rename the vault first to remove that apostrophe, then you can delete it as normal.

I'll file a report with our Development team to see if 1Password can handle this situation better so that we don't have to worry about the specific style of punctuation when checking it to delete a vault.

Hope that helps! :)
