Cannot sign into account, stuck at 2FA prompt

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a new machine on NixOS with 1P GUI 8.10.48, but it fails to register the touch of my 2FA key. It seems very similar to this problem: https://1password.community/discussion/144215/two-factor-authentication-fails-to-save-on-linux

I'm using KDE with KWallet and the 2FA works eg. just fine from the browser, so I can use the browser extension - I need the desktop version though to use the SSH agent feature.

Logs are showing:

INFO 2024-11-28T19:14:29.056+00:00 tokio-runtime-worker(ThreadId(13)) [1P:app/op-app/src/mfa_ui.rs:172] Prompting user for MFA
WARN 2024-11-28T19:14:29.068+00:00 ThreadId(49) [1P:ffi/op-core-node/src/lib.rs:757] failed to get assertion from security key: ChallengeFailed(InvalidRelyingPartyInput)

Any remediation? Using the beta did not seem to help either.

Support ticket ID is EHP-93368-498.

Regards,
Simon
