Capturing Newly Generated PW

Hello: I have been updating passwords and using 1Password to generate PWs to replace the old ones. I am noticing that even though I am given the option to update the old PW with the new one occasionally it does not show up back in my vault as change. So much so that I am making sure I copy the new PW manually to ensure it makes it back to the entry in my vault. Is this a 1Password bug, an a known occasional anomaly in replacing PWs, or am I doing something wrong. I am using Chrome. Thanks

Hey @Drubine,

When you say it does not show up back in your vault, do you mean when you click on the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar or are you referring to your 1Password app or 1Password.com?

Can you describe to me the steps you are taking when you update a password? Do they match the steps in this guide: Change your password in your browser.

Any detail you can share would be really helpful.
