Question

Change the time in which Face ID unlock is enabled

Hi there!

1P by default enables Face ID unlock for 1 hour. After 1 hour, it asks you to enter your master password again.

I know that this is a very good security practice and that this functionality was implemented a while ago. Nevertheless, is there a possibility to extend the time that Face ID unlock remains active?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

J.

Hello @JuanraNunez! 👋

You can change how often your account password is required (extending how long Face ID remains active) by following these steps:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password.
  2. Tap on Settings.
  3. Tap on Advanced.
  4. Tap on Security.
  5. Set "Require Master Password" to the desired length of time.

I hope that helps. 😊

Dave, my man!

I didn't see that option before.
