ChatGPT Atlas

Has anyone gotten the 1Password extension to work with ChatGPT Atlas? I installed the latest plugin, and I manually added /Applications/ChatGPT Atlas.app in the desktop app under "Connect to additional browsers", but I still get Integration Status: Connect Problem in the plugin settings.

Hello folks,

While ChatGPT Atlas isn't an officially supported browser, since it is based on Chromium, you can install 1Password in the browser from the Chrome Web Store: 1Password – Password Manager

Once you've installed 1Password and signed into your 1Password account you can pin 1Password to Atlas' toolbar by clicking on your profile icon in the top right corner of the browser and then hovering (not clicking) over Extensions > 1Password and then clicking on Pin to browser bar:

Our team is aware of an issue where adding ChatGPT Atlas as an additional browser to the 1Password for Mac app to enable app integration isn't working and we're currently investigating. For the time being, you'll need to unlock 1Password in Atlas separately from the desktop app using your account password.

edit: We're now testing a fix for the issue in the nightly version of 1Password for Mac. Once testing is complete we hope to release the fix to the beta and then the production version as soon as possible

Just tested it out here... seems to be working fine... no "toolbar" icon to speak of, though.

Odd, can't get it working for me. If you click on your profile in the top right, however, and then hover over extensions, and then hover over the 1Password extension you will see the pin to toolbar option. Clicking won't work, have to hover.

Excellent! Thanks for the help on that one.

I may be able to help you troubleshoot by comparing configurations (versions of each app?) or what may or may not have been running when installing or something?

Not working for me either, I get the same 'Integration Status:  Connection Problem' message

Sounds more like a workaround than a 'Solution'. Hopefully this get's fixed soon.

Marking a post as a solution to a thread doesn't mean that the issue/request itself is fixed or closed. It's a way to highlight the most up-to-date answer for anyone who stumbles onto the thread in the future.

Our development team is currently looking into this, I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

I Make it work.
But when is the first start page of Atlas is not working. You need to be on a web page so then you can open the 1Password integrated app.
I think this is more a Atlas issue, but if 1Password dont try to figure it out, it will never work.
If you all can do something will be great.

On Comet browser works fine.

@sglewis, @crisler12, @mikeormerod

Our development team has found the cause of the issue and we're currently testing a fix in the nightly version of the 1Password for Mac desktop app (8.11.20-4 or later). If you'd like to help us test the fix then you can switch to the nightly using these steps: Use 1Password beta or nightly releases

If you'd prefer to avoid using the nightly then no worries, we hope to release the fix to the beta and then to the production version of 1Password as soon as possible.

It's connecting now. I have the Nighly version active on my Mac*, and there was an update today. After that, I tried again the "Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app" and this time it connected without issues.

* = "1Password for Mac 8.11.20 (81120012)"
