Chrome autofill not working for form data

I use Chrome for work and I fill out a lot of forms. I'm not talking log ins, but random customer addresses, names, etc. These are not things that I would need or want to save to my 1Password account. It was working just fine until late last week. When I turn off the extension, Chrome autofill works correctly, when I turn it back on, the autofill doesn't work. While this is definitely a 1st world problem, it is annoying as heck because there are fills that I use everyday that use to just pop up naturally as I filled in the dialog box and now I have to go through extra steps to get the information all over again.

Chrome Version 137.0.7151.56 (Official Build) (64-bit)
1Password Version 1Password browser extension version 8.10.78.43

Thanks!

Ditto. Form fill in Chrome just works so I've had to turn off 1password autofill to let chrome do chrome for form data. After all the searches in this forum, it seems the only answer is to save form stuff as a login/password which is very hokey. This isn't rocket science and should be easy to code if you want 1p to take over form fill for everything. Honestly, form fill is used more often than login/password IMHO. You log into a site once and fill out form fields almost constantly.

Hello @mdputhoff and @jdranchman! 👋

Thanks for reaching out. 1Password has the ability to fill form information such as addresses and identities: Save and fill credit cards and addresses

Can you tell me a little more about the issue? Is this form information that you've saved in Chrome's built-in autofill feature? Or are the websites themselves suggesting addresses? If you'd like to prevent 1Password for suggesting information on a page then you can hide it by right-clicking on the page and then selecting 1Password - Password Manager > Hide on this page

I look forward to hearing from you.

I enter invoices across multiple web portals for work. It use to be that I would fill in a text box with "Tax" and then the percentage in another box. Then Chrome would remember that information. I click on the text box where I routinely type "Tax", it would appear in a drop down menu. When I clicked on the percentage text box, a list of various amounts would appear and I could select from one of those. This saved me so many keystrokes a day. Then either or both Chrome and 1Password updated and now I've lost that ability. I thought I could live with it, but even after months since it stopped, I still expect the drop down autocomplete box to show up. Dang it, I want it back!

I don't want to turn on Chrome's saved passwords because that's why I'm paying 1Password to save my passwords. I just want my forms autocomplete to work again.

@mdputhoff

Thanks for the reply. Are you able to link to one of the webpages where you're seeing this issue? Or post a screenshot of what the suggestions look like when 1Password is turned off?

If you don't want to post the screenshot or link on the public forum then please send it to support@1Password.com and include a link to this thread.
