Compact item lists with alphabetical quick navigation

Hello,

using an iPhone 13 1PW8 only displays 9 items compared to 11 1/2 in 1PW7. The sidebar has plenty of empty space too. I would like to get something like the compact mode of desktop versions. Furthermore I'm missing the alphabetical quick navigation on the right side of the list.
