Connection problem with browser extension (Chrome and Brave) on Arch Linux

Question

I installed the app via https://aur.archlinux.org/1password.git , the browser extension in both Brave and Chrome from the Chrome web store, followed the steps at https://support.1password.com/connect-1password-browser-app/?linux#appendix-add-additional-trusted-browsers (using binary names "brave" and "chrome"), and restarted everything.

The extension still reports "Integration Status: Connection problem".

App version: 8.10.78
Browser extension version: 8.10.78.43
Brave version: 1.79.119
Chrome version: 137.0.7151.68

Is 1Password supported under Arch Linux?

For posterity: the problem here was that Brave was installed via Flatpak (KDE Plasma Discover).  Re-installing it via Yay (https://brave.com/linux/#arch) was the solution.
