Copying a password generated from 1Password Mini results in a different password being pasted

Question

I might be misunderstanding how this is supposed to work, but if I use "Generate Password" from 1Password Mini on the Mac, attempt to copy and paste the password, the one that is generated on screen is different from the one that is pasted.

I have tried:

Copy & Paste with right click
Copy & Paste with keyboard commands
Save and Copy button in 1Password Mini (I assume this for sure would copy the password on screen to my clipboard)
