Cryptomator integration

When using a cloud storage, I encrypt the files stored online with Cryptomator. Cryptomator works by creating an encrypted vault for your files and folders, that can only be accessed when knowing the corresponding password. Since https://cryptomator.org/blog/2021/10/11/1-6-0-what-you-need-to-know/ they provide a plugin-API that can be utilised by other apps for managing these passwords. For example, KeePassXC already provides a https://plugin.purejava.org/ and Apple Keychain is implemented natively.

I would love to see a plugin to integrate Cryptomator with 1Password. There has already been https://community.cryptomator.org/t/vault-format-8/8573/4 back in 2021 but unfortunately I was not able to find a working solution. Would it be possible that 1Password gets in touch with the Cryptomator developers and/or provides a plugin?

Thank you for the suggestion! I've used Cryptomator on and off in the past but wasn't aware that they had introduced a Plugin API. While I can't make any promises, I've filed a feature request on your behalf to have the product team look into building an integration in the future. 🙂

Thanks for following up. I don't have any updates to share, it doesn't look like there's been much demand for this feature but the feature request remains open in our product team's backlog for future consideration.
