Ctrl+Alt to reveal fields not working - reporting issue

I'm sorry for the troubles you are encountering with the option to "Hold Ctrl+Alt to toggle revealed fields" no longer working after some time.

I while I understand this behaviour only happens from time to time and may not be easily reproducible, do you see this behaviour after restarting Windows in Safe Mode with Networking Enabled:
* Start your PC in safe mode in Windows - Microsoft Support

If safe mode helps, have you noticed any pattern around when this stops working? For example, does it stop working after launching some other specific app? I'm wondering if something else on your device is taking control over the Ctrl + Alt shortcut and causing this behaviour. Can you check if you any other apps you regularly use that also have Ctrl + Alt enabled as a short?

I am experiencing the issues right now. I am not running Windows in safe mode; I just restarted the PC so there are not that many apps running.

Let me know if you want me to do any test - I am not going to fix it for now.

I ended several tasks in the Task manager that I thought could be catching Ctrl+Alt but it still does not toggle.

I understand that you do not always experience this behaviour, but restarting Windows in Safe Mode is the best way to help determine if something is still running that may be causing these troubles:

It appears this issue was fixed in 8.10.16 ON SEPTEMBER 18 2023
