Date format display

I find date formats between dd/mm/yyyy and mm/dd/yyyy and prefer to use "mmm". I primarily use 1Password in Apple devices. Is there a way to display dates in 'dd-mmm-yyyy' format in 1Password?

Hello @dada! 👋

Thank you for the question! 1Password for Mac will display dates using the default date format associated with your preferred language in macOS. You can change your preferred language by following these steps:

  1. Open the macOS System Settings app.
  2. Click General
  3. Click Language & region
  4. Select your preferred language.

Note: Customizations of the date format on this screen aren't currently supported.

I hope that helps.

Hi @1P_Dave,

I've got the same issue and checked my macOS settings. 1Password does not follow those settings.

I have almost entered an incorrect date of a document when checking in for a flight, which could have been quite problematic.

Any chance someone could have a look at that, please?

1Password for Mac 8.11.8 (81108040)
macOS Sequoia 15.6.1

Thanks.

@maria123

Thank you for the ping! Can you post a screenshot of your Language & region settings from macOS (make sure that the preferred language is visible) and a screenshot of the date format that you see in 1Password? I can take a look and advise further.
