Date format not respected in Safari and Brave

Hi,
I have the same issue as an old post (link below) - I moved from Europe to the USA. My local settings have been updated. However, entering a form with 1password is entering the birthday in European format (day-month-year). Here is a sample website:

This is occurring in both Safari and Brave for Mac (everything is updated).
