Dates Save Incorrectly - Offset by one month

Hi,

When editing my drivers license details, I enter the "issued" and "expires" dates and when I save it the dates magically change to one month too late?

Extension Version: 8.10.52.25 81052025

Update: It seems all the dates in the windows app are wrong in the same way. The browser extension is unaffected and the dates appear correctly, which is weird, since the extension and the app are linked on the same computer.

1Password Windows seems to be displaying date off by one month.

Recreate as follows;

1 - Date is entered / amended in 1Password Windows - in this case to 18/11/24 (actually 11/18/24 as goes to mm/dd/yyyy for entry).

2 - After clicking save, in 1Password Windows it displays as 18/12/24.

3 - Clicking edit, the editable date reverts to 18/11/24 (11/18/24).

4 - Checking on mobile app, it displays as 18/11/24.

Using in Australia if that is relevant... though don't think we're a month behind :)

Hello @iamai and @j123! 👋

I've merged both threads together to keep the conversation in the same place. 🙂

I'm sorry that you're both seeing dates render incorrectly in the 1Password for Windows desktop app. Our developers are testing a fix for the issue in the latest beta version of 1Password, if you're willing to give that a try to confirm that it resolves the issue for you then you can find steps here:

Then follow the steps to update 1Password and restart the app. If you see the same issue then let me know. If you're not interested in trying the beta (which is completely okay!) then we hope to release the fix to the stable version of 1Password as soon as testing is completed.

@j123

Sounds good! Hopefully the fix makes it to the stable version soon, keep an eye on our release notes: 1Password Releases

When viewing something thats in a date format it is adding +1 to the month in a date, this is not present when editing the values, so viewing only seems to be rendering the dates incorrectly. This is a new issue as a few weeks ago I did not notice such a problem. And no this entry has not been edited at all in that time, it was last edited a year ago.

This is present in the main app and also the small window you can make for a certain entry.
