Question

Default login for a site

There are a few sites where I have multiple logins (e.g. development logins, gmail, etc.)

Right now, 1password seems to sort them alphabetically, meaning I have to scroll down to select the one I want. Is there any way to select the "default" account, the one I tend to log into, to get it to be at the top of the list?

Hey @erand I have a similar issue.  While supporting many customers, my team tends to have multiple credentials for the same site (e.g. Google and Microsoft), so when we are trying to access our personal accounts on those sites or our customers, the best option I have found is to just start typing the name of the item.

When you have the list of accounts, simply begin typing the email or title of the item and the search functionality will help you find your item.  When 1Password released this feature over a year ago, it changed my workflow and improved my efficiency!

If 1Password suggests more than one item, you can use the arrow keys to select the one you want, or start typing to filter your items.

Thanks!

That's a good workaround. I'd still rather choose the default one at that will show up at the top. A way to "pin" one account.

I don't know why I didn't verify this earlier (I know I have seen it on my few favorited accounts before)!  If you favorite an item, it will show up at the top of the list.

With item favorited - list is alphabetical but will prioritize the favorites at the top.  Favorites will be alphabetized at the top and then the remaining items will alphabetize below.

Without item favorited - list remains alphabetical

The default login could also autofill.
