Disable showing content of the notes field when doing search

I'm sorry that you're seeing your notes in an unexpected place. When you search for an item you should still see the title of the item, you'll see the note appended to the end of the title if the note is relevant to your search:

Are you not seeing the item's title in the search? Are you able to post a screenshot of what you do see? Make sure that nothing sensitive is visible in the screenshot.

I'm seeing title, but I don't want to see notes appended to the end of the title!
I have something sensitive in my notes, I don't want anyone who is standing behind my back to see.

To clarify: is the note that you're seeing a match for the search term that you searched for? So that I can better understand the issue, can you create a test item with no sensitive information and take a screenshot of you reproducing the issue with that item. Post that screenshot here.

Consider the case:

I have an item, which is titled dumptruck. it has username -- user, password - Pa$sword123, url https://dumptruck.site and a note, which says: 2fa recovery codes 12345678, 87654321

When I search in 1Password for dumptruck, I see in the search window:

dumptruck -- 2fa recovery codes 123456789, 8765432...

All I want to see is dumptruck, maybe url, if url matches, but not note, which has nothing to do to this search.

The data from the notes field doesn't appear in the search results. Are you able to post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Can you also confirm that you're currently seeing this behaviour in 1Password for Mac 8.10.40?

Hmm, I think the issue got fixed in recent update. No longer seeing this in 1Password for Mac 8.10.40 (81040031). Only time I see notes content in search is when search matches portion of the note, which is how I expected this to work.
