Do I need an 1Password account to use 1Password 7, or can I use it also without such an account and use only my iCloud account instead?

Can you tell me if you currently have either a 1Password account or a license for 1Password 7 for Mac? If you don't have either then do you have a license for a previous version of 1Password for Mac?
