Does 1Password Universal Autofill work for Java-based apps?

Hey guys, long time supporter of 1Password, loving the new 8 release so far! Not sure if it's new too, but I love adding a new two-factor auth workflow where the macOS app is smart enough to detect a QR code in the Safari browser window hidden in the background, super slick and saves that much more mousing and clicking around!

One question, I was also excited to try using the new Universal Autofill for my thinkOrSwim trading platform from TD Ameritrade (It's a Java based app). I saw a previous post back in 2016 about that not being supported, but wanted to see if that's now supported by Universal Autofill? I can see it the 1Password entry did successfully get a "Linked Apps" entry for thinkOrSwim, but it doesn't autofill the login form. Hoping I missed something?

Hi @kevp123:

While I can't say for certain whether or not Java has anything to do with this, I was able to replicate Universal Autofill not behaving as expected here. I've filed an issue to see if we can improve the state of play here in the future!

Ah, great... glad to hear you were able to reproduce the problem! Will look forward to any updates as they come.
