Emerg. Kit and recovery code - Did I miss the note to print both at the same time

The Recovery Code is just a string of alphanumeric characters with quads separated by dashes.
You can print it any time you wish, though it's better suited for storing digitally so you can copy and paste it when needed. If you created it, but neglected to store it, then you can replace it by clicking the tricolon (⁝) by Recovery Code and selecting Replace recovery code.

It's unrelated to your Emergency Kit or Secret Key and serves as a backup to them for recovering account access.

I am jumping in here as I am in the exact same situation; I have the Emerg. Kit but it does not come with or provide any away ( that is reasonably obvious to me ) to get the Recovery code ( except for the first and last quads ). Having  been in a place where I needed it very badly; I could use some guidance as to where/how to download and/or print it.
