Enhanced ability to choose item Icons for non-login items

Getting the icon you want for login items works quite well -- 1P automatically fetches a high-quality icon based on the item's specified website.  But this ability doesn't extend to non-login items (like Bank accounts, credit cards, etc.). Even entering a URL for the item doesn't help.

So please enable all item types to utilize a specified website/URL to auto-fetch the icon.  Or alternatively, give us a way to copy the icon from one item to another (even if they are different item types).

This would be a really nice feature to have.  Thanks!

That's very helpful, thank you! I've submitted these as two separate requests to be considered.

Hi @1Canid,

Just to make sure I understand correctly before I submit the feature request, if we create for example an item for a Visa credit card, you'd like the item to include a field where you can put in a url for the Visa logo? Are you envisioning that you could put in visa.com and it would just pull the favicon or did you have something else in mind?

Hi @1P_SimonH

Here's an example of my use case:

I have a login item for Capital One Bank (website https://www.capitalone.com) entered in 1P.  I also have 2 bank account items (for my CapOne checking and savings accounts) and 2 credit card items (for my CapOne credit and debit cards).  I want all 5 of these items to use the very same, high-quality icon image I have for the login item.

But despite entering the Capital One URL into the other 4 items, 1P didn't pull in an image for them as it did for the login item.  So I had to scrounge together my own, inferior-looking Capital One image to use as the icons for the other 4 items.

Hence my request to enable all item types to utilize a specified website/URL to auto-fetch the icon.  Or alternatively, give us a way to copy the icon from one item to another (even if they are different item types).

Just adding a workaround suggested by a colleague! For those of you who rely on the icons as a way to spot the items you're looking for, you could also link the login item that has the desired icon to those other items. Then you have a bit of a shortcut that still lets you use the icon to get to the item you want and will bring up all the relevant items when you search for Capital One.

That said, we'll still make sure your feature requests get looked at!
