Expiry Alert limited to a single date

Hi @bill_ds! Thanks for writing in. 

The expected behaviour is one expiry per item. While I can't speak for the Product team, if I were to hazard a guess I'd say the use case is probably around things like driver's licenses, passports, or services where you're required to rotate the password. In those cases you'd have one expiry date that then gets updated after renewing. 

I can't make any promises that it will get added to 1Password, but I would be happy to share your feature suggestion and use case with the team. 

It may not be the most practical solution, but in the scenario you described you could consider adding an item for the return date, and an item for the warranty, then linking or tagging them to keep them associated.

Just adding my vote for the ability to put an expiry alert on any/all date fields (that is, including multiple fields in a single item).  I've wanted this before, but my most recent use-case was inputting the various renewal dates for my email provider:  main account renewal, (2) different sub-account renewal cycles, domain/whois-privacy renewal.  Four different renewal dates, which are currently -- sadly -- on three different renewal cycle periods.  I'm handling it by adding notes to myself to remind me that after I process the first renewal, I should set a new expiry alert on the next-up renewal.  Should work, but klunky.  It would be much-preferable to be able to set independent alerts for each of the individual renewal cycles.
