Question

Extension only turned on one device

I recently was trying out the 1Password Safari browser extension on my Mac. I noticed it alerted me on my iOS. And seemingly auto-turned it on. I dismissed the notification as I did not want the extension on my iOS device. So I had to go back and turn it off on my iOS device.
I came back to my Mac and discovered the extension turned off.

Is this expected behavior? Can you not have the extension turned on a single device? Further can you turn off this feature that it auto turns it on and off on other devices?

Hello @snowy! 👋

Thanks for the question. It sounds like you have an Apple feature called "Share across devices" turned on for Safari extensions. You can turn this feature off by following the steps in this Apple article:

I hope that helps. 🙂
