Extension search shortcut

Thanks for messaging us! 1Password has many keyboard shortcuts between both the extensions and the app. If you would like to search in the extension, the keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + F on Windows and Command + F on Mac.

Hi @"josh.d_1p",

I know you can do that but I think being able to use the / button would be really helpful seeing lots of websites like google and your own PC app lets you press the / button to select the search field. It would be helpful if you could submit this as a feature suggestion.

I completely understand. With 1Password 8, we added Quick Access which can be accessed with the keyboard shortcut Ctrl (Command) + Shift + Space. Quick Access searches all of 1Password and to change this keyboard shortcut, follow these steps:

1. Open the 1Password App
2. Go to Settings
3. General
4. Keyboard Shortcuts

From here you can change Show Quick Access to /.

I like quick access a lot and I use it on PC but on my chromebook I can only use the extension, I just think it would be helpful when I open the extension I can click the / button to put the search field in focus like the pc app.

Adding more customization to 1Password is definitely a goal of ours. I have added your feedback to an open feature request with our developers to add more customization to keyboard shortcuts while using the 1Password Extension.
