Feature Request - Auto-focus on search

In the Android app, when tapping on a tab, it would be great if a second tap on the same tab put focus in the search bar, so that the on-screen keyboard appears, to avoid having to tap at the other end of the screen to get focus in that field and then come back down to type the search string.

Hi @svsvc, thanks for writing in!

This is an interesting idea, and I can definitely see the benefit in a double tap to focus search feature, especially on a larger phone. I can't say if this will be added to the roadmap, but I've gone ahead and shared your feedback with the team. Thanks again!

Hey 1P. I’d like to pop this back to the top with some additional input. For the ios/ipad os apps, it would be great that when search is chosen, the search box would gain focus and be activated. As it is now, the behavior is odd--- click “Search” but then click a second time on the search box. While “Recent” is nice, 99% of the time I will click “Search” to enter a search term.
