Feature Request - extra Item templates please!

I have just migrated to 1Password from mSecure, and am delighted with the move. I particularly appreciate the Windows browser extensions, which mSecure still lacks - it was primarily this ongoing deficiency which prompted the transition!

The only thing I miss is some of mSecure's Item templates, namely:

Lock Combinations
Frequent Flyer Numbers
Registration Codes
Vehicle Information

I have dealt with this by customising Secure Notes, so it is not really a problem, but it would be nice to have proper templates which could then be selected by Category...

Welcome to 1Password and to the community! Thank you for the feedback, was there something specific about those templates that you'd like to see in 1Password? For the first three you can find equivalent categories in 1Password:

Lock Combinations > Password
Frequent Flyer Numbers > Rewards
Registration Codes > Memberships

There isn't an equivalent to the Vehicle Information category, using a Secure Note is the best option there for now. That being said, I can certainly pass along your feedback to our Product team so that they can look into expanding the existing categories in the future.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the quick response, and the list of equivalent categories! The benefit for me of having the extra templates would be in organising my vault, so that those items can then be found quickly by selecting the appropriate Category in the app.

However, a Vehicle Information template would have specific fields for:

Model
Registration/license number
VIN
Multimedia ID
Date purchased
Tyre size

Just an idea for your Product Team...
