Feature Request: Link item between different vaults

Could you share a bit more about what you had in mind for linking items in separate vaults? Any details about the use case you're thinking of, or how you might use this feature day to day are helpful for filing product feedback, and looking at what options are available currently to achieve a similar goal. I am storing all the credentials related to billing in "CreditCard" vault, for example, some billing services. The general information are stored in "Personal" like single phone number, a single gmail, ... 

Then I would like a feature that allows linking an item from a vault to a specific item in another separated vault.

I now use tags to see for what services/logins I use my creditcard.

I have the different credit cards as nested tags.
Creditcard/ICS
Creditcard/N26
etc.

@1P_Timothy Here's my use case.

I'm a consultant. With most of my clients, I have a separate email address (which is a joy unto itself to manage 🙄). I have separate vaults for each of my clients, and I link each client's vault to a corresponding browser profile. That way, when I have to sign in to Google or Microsoft or any "common" service, I see one and only one entry.

The most common exception to this is GitHub. I have only one account and I add each email to that single account, and I take the time to make sure that GitHub knows in each browser profile which email to associate my work with.

I would like to link my GitHub account to each of my client's vaults that require it; not all of them do. Right now, my alternatives are:

1. A "Business - Shared" vault for the very few passwords I need across all clients.
2. Copying the items to each client vault and ensuring that it's kept up to date.

Linking would make this much easier.

+1 to this. I share items across vaults with family members. And some items in my private vault are related to items in shared vaults, e.g., a banking website login credentials (private) to a kid's credit card (shared vault). And I'd like bi-directional linking (and easier to setup -- see numerous requests for easier bi-directional linking setup)  -- if the the viewer of the item doesn't have access to the vault of the linked item, 1P could simply display nothing or a Locked icon.
