[Feature Request] Make New Item Window Movable

I'd like the New Item Window to be movable, possibly a separate window altogether, similar to the Ctrl+I shortcut.

I often set up new Database/Server entries and need to copy information from the other entry to the new entry, for example, the title of the old entry might have the format:
Application - Environment - Function - Account
Example:
1Password - QA/Test - MSSQL DB - 1pass_admin

When creating a new entry, I copy (by typing) the information from the old entry to the new entry that is needed. (I'm aware of the Make a copy feature, but don't use it). Therefore, it would be a great enhancement if the New Item window became a separate movable window, or at the very least, movable within the main application window.

Cheers,
Josh

Howdy @jcsully217 👋🤠

I can definitely see how having the New Item window pop-out and be draggable to where you need it would come in handy. I've gone ahead and filed this as a Feature Request for our development team!

Let us know if there's anything else you can think of!

Would be a great improvement. Impossible to cut and paste.

@kbowen

Thanks for reaching out! I have a workflow that might help you:

  1. Choose to create a new item in the 1Password desktop app.
  2. Open Quick Access, search for the item that you'd like to copy from, and press Command-O on your keyboard to open that item in a new window.

Now you can copy information from that existing item to the new item. Let me know if that doesn't work.
