Feature request: search Archives

Please add the ability to search the Archive folder. Really, bring back the advanced search capabilities of 1Password 7.

I want to use 1Password 8, but 1Password 7 remains my default because of issues like no advanced search, no ability to view item counts in the sidebar, and no ability to sort by website domain.

These features are really important. In a large archive, without search, "archived" items might as well be cash.

In general, 1Password 8 seems infantilizing, more colorful, more handholding, but harder than 1Password7 to accomplish things for a reasonably proficient user.

Thank you for the feedback. Have you tried using the Find tool to search the Archive? Try these steps:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password for Mac.
  2. Click on the Archive in the sidebar.
  3. Click Edit > Find.

Search using the Find field at the top of the item list rather than the Search field at the top of the app. Let me know if that helps.
