Filenames of Attached Apple Photos

Question

HiI'm sure the answer is it is Apple, but I thought I'd ask anyway.If I attach a Photo using my iPhone the resulting attachment has a long largely meaningless filename.jpeg but if I attach the same Photo using my Mac the resulting filename is img_sequencenumber.jpeg.Also, is there a way to rename the attached file?Thank you for your help.

This is typically due to the way iOS generates unique filenames for images to ensure no duplicates across different apps and cloud services. On a Mac, however, the filenames are more standardized (e.g., IMG_XXXX.jpeg) as they follow the typical naming convention for files saved directly to disk or imported to the Photos app.Unfortunately, there isn’t a way within 1Password to rename an attached file directly once it’s uploaded.
