Question

Fill in custom field on Adyen portal

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to automatically fill in a custom field. I’ve checked all previously opened topics and tried every trick, but no luck so far. The main issue is that the input field ID for the Account field on the Adyen login page has a dynamic value.

Steps:

  • Go to https://www.adyen.com.
  • Click the Login button (top right).
  • Select the Test tab, enter any value in the Username field, and press Next.
  • The form will display two new fields: Account and Password. The Account field is a custom field and when I add a value for it in 1Password, it never autofills. The only way I can fill it at the moment is by opening the Chrome extension and dragging and dropping the value into the form.

Please tell me there’s some magic trick to make autofill work! 🪄

Best,

Olek

Hello @prox! 👋

Thanks for reaching out! I don't have an account on that website but the following seems to work for me:

  1. Navigate to the page in question until you see the Account field.
  2. Type in your Account name.
  3. Right-click on the page and then click 1Password - Password Manager > Save > Login.
  4. Save a new login item, don't update an existing one.

Then try to fill your Account name using the new item. Let me know if that works.

Hi @1P_Dave,

I've tried but still doesn't work it fills my username value into Account field. Here is the video recording https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XDYkTawgcHknG9aDQby-6vOz3F-4efBl/view?usp=sharing

and the link to my fake account from screen recording https://share.1password.com/s#xajdQCm7PH70FRfJIe_xzQ7tLuLvb9ORH9L4cfXNnuc
