Firefox 2.20.2 not working

1P thinks the add-on is not installed. I've removed and re-installed, confirmed Firefox and add-on are latest release, restarted everything. It shows up in the my list of add-ons, but not on the menu bar and not recognized by 1P as being installed -keeps telling me to install it now, and the link takes me to the Firefox add-on page which says its installed. Suggestions? Should I try to go backwards to 2.15.1?

Hello @jcender2! 👋

I'm sorry that 1Password for Firefox isn't working correctly. As a first step can you try the steps in this article: If you don't see the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar

If that doesn't work then, to help me better understand the situation, I'd like to ask you to take a screenshot of what you're seeing when you say that 1Password is telling you to installed the extension and attach it to your reply:

I downgraded to 1p 2.15.1 add-on and it's working. Would still like to know why 2.20.2 won't work and how/when it's ok to upgrade.

@jcender2

I'm sorry for the delay in replying. Can you install the latest version of 1Password for Firefox from the Firefox Add-ons store:

Then, if you still see the same issue, I'd like to request a console log from your end:
