Firefox Browser extension

Hi Team,

When I wake my mac from sleep, the browser extension does not respond. I typically have to re-install it to get it to "startup". Then the initial website that I try to log into, the autofill will not work unless I reload the page a few times...

1Password Version: 1Password8 for Mac 8.4.0
Extension Version: 2.1.7
OS Version: Big Sur 11.6

I'd like to understand a bit more about what you're experiencing:

  • Are you able to reliably reproduce this behaviour?
  • Is Firefox already open when your device is waking from a sleep state?
  • If you open and unlock 1Password before opening Firefox, does the issue persist?

Whatever detail you can provide, around those questions or beyond them, will help us understand the nature of the issue you're seeing.

To dive in on this, I can't get the firefox extension to respond to shortcuts, period. I can click on the icon and get it to come up, but, the command-shift-c shortcut brings up the firefox console, instead of copying the password, even if the 1P FF window is in the front.
