Firefox: Integration status: connection problem

Firefox = 141.0

Firefox extension: 8.11.2.21

1Password windows version: 8.11.2

After updating Firefox the extension shows "integration status: connection problem"

I have reinstalled the extension. Used every troubleshooting advice in these forums and it just wont work. I have to continually unlock the extension and or use the app and copy/paste. What is the solution here?

Hello @OLBaID! 👋

I'm sorry that 1Password in Firefox isn't connecting with the desktop app. I've moved your comment to a new thread since the other thread discusses an unrelated issue. 

As a next step, can you restart your Windows PC and then try the suggestions in this article: If the 1Password browser extension doesn’t unlock when you unlock the 1Password app

Then try the following: 

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Settings.
  3. Click "Integrate this extension with the 1Password desktop app" off and then back on.


Let me know if you still see the same issue after trying these steps.

Thanks i had tried this multiple times. Still shows status

I'm sorry that you're still seeing the same issue. I'd like to ask you to create and share a 1Password diagnostics report from 1Password on your Windows PC:

Send a diagnostics report (Windows)

Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to support@1password.com

With your email please include:

I have tried all of this same issue i have to open the browser extension with the password both integrations are enabled. Extension for firefox still shows "connection problem"

there is no report option from the extension and i have removed and reinstalled again still is locking even with desktop app is unlocked/open
