Firefox: Protected folder access blocked

Question

Hi,Every time I first start Firefox, I get a Windows Security warning about a protected folder access blocked [see screenshot]. It clearly mentions 1password, so I suspect this is due to the 1P extension.While I could simply Allow that access, I'm a bit puzzled by the fact that despite that access being blocked, the 1Password extension works without any issue afterward. I'm also using 1Password Desktop, so I guess the extension does not need to access my data directly, as it is going through the desktop app.If there is actually no need to grant that access, I would prefer 1Password not even trying to in the first place, as this seems unnecessary.What might be the cause of this? Could it be solved by some settings in the extension? Is it a bug?Thank you!

Hello @Bastien! 👋Thanks for reaching out! The 1Password desktop app and 1Password in the browser integrate together, and communicate with each other, in order to lock and unlock at the same time. To better understand the situation:Can you tell me why your administrator or IT team implemented this policy? If you don't allow access, then does the browser extension and the desktop app lock and unlock at the same time? Or do you have to lock and unlock each individually? If you temporarily remove the 1Password browser extension from Firefox, do you still see the message? (Make sure that you're signed into 1Password on another device before doing this to avoid being locked out.)I look forward to hearing from you.-Dave
