Flatpak fails to update (Flatpak 8.9.4 update missing)

Hi,

I currently have the flatpak installed on my computer. I think either flatpak cannot handle updates properly or there is a problem with 1Password's releases for flatpak. When an update is released, the store (Pop Shop in my case) shows a notification about it. When I try to update the package, it starts to download but fails to update. This is the output of it when I try to update via CLI:

3 months have passed. Still no news. Why is this so hard? Can someone please explain?

Yet another reminder that this bug has been around for more than a year. If anyone cares, I'm a long time paying user of 1Password and I think Linux desktop users deserve something better than this.

Hey @tunix, I apologize for our delayed response here. I've reached out to the relevant team to see if they can provide an update on this. I understand your frustration here and will pass your comments along.

Around new years I installed 1password with flatpak on my steamdeck and since then the app has refused to update to the point that it is now broken. If I remove it and reinstall the flatpakref-file I keep getting an old version it seems. Instead of launching the app I just get a message box that says I've used a newer version of 1password on this device before.

It's May 5th. I don't want to count anymore. I deleted 1Password app from my desktop and continue just with the browser extension. Thank you for not solving this in a very long time.
