Force 1Password to pop up on specific pages

There are some authentication flows where 1Password does not pop up in. Specifically, in an enterprise SSO flow where the form only collects email before determining if a password or other form of authentication is required.

For example, I am trying to figure out how to force 1P to pop up on this page: https://identity.flatfile.com/oauth/account/login

I want it to prompt me for one of the emails I have saved for this domain. I have the https://identity.flatfile.com site saved in the logic, but that doesn't work. I was wondering if perhaps the field itself is not tagged as an email field, and if so, could I make it so 1P detects it as such?

Hello @jackmagic! 👋

I'm sorry that 1Password isn't filling your email address into the site in question. I just tested the website on my end and it looks like 1Password is properly detecting and filling into the field in question when I click into the field and then click on the suggestion:

Could you try the following:

  1. Go to the website's login page.
  2. Manually type in your email address but don't submit it.
  3. Right-click on the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and click Save Login.
  4. In the prompt that appear choose to save a New Login, don't update your existing login.
  5. Fill the new login.

Let me know if that works. 🙂

I have tested it a few times now. There are some cases where it works, and some where it doesn't. I can't figure out the pattern yet. Is it possible that it's related to the field being auto focused on page load and 1P not loading without the click event? I can't quite reproduce it, though if I refresh or open in a new tab, it will work then.

@jackmagic

I'm sorry that the experience is inconsistent. If you're able to, I'd like to ask you to send in a console log when reproducing the issue so that I can investigate further:
