(Format using Mark down issue)

Question

I created a password using the + top right corner by selecting the password item and then copied and pasted it into a secure note with other passwords are kept.

Then I noticed the password I pasted was missing two symbols from what I had just copied.

If I tap edit it will show the two missing symbols and when I tap done they would disappear again.

So I thought to turned off (format using mark down) and it would show the pasted symbols that way without taping edit.

That created another problem.

Now with (format using mark down) turned off it will not allow me to highlight text unless their is a read more of I tap that and expand the whole note I can highlight that way, but if their is no read more I still have to tap edit to highlight so I can copy from any secure note.

If I turn (format using mark down) back on I am then allowed to highlight to copy text again this time without taping edit.

I lose and gain something either way.

So it seems to me now my best bet is to to keep (format using mark down) turned off and suffer having to highlight every time by taping edit.

This took a lot of brain power just to explain it all. Gave me a headache. 🥵

Hello @bugwhat! 👋Thank you for reaching out. Is there a reason why you're saving passwords to the default text field in a Secure Note? Even if you'd like to add a password to a Secure Note you can add the password to a dedicated password field:Open and unlock 1Password for iOS.Tap on your Secure Note.Tap Edit. Tap + add more. Tap Password. Add the password to the new field and then save the item. You can read more about custom fields here: Customize your 1Password items-Dave
