Frustrated! (But I'm sure you'll fix it quickly)

My wife has retired and her work email that is on her 1Password (as part of our family account) has changed. And I cannot work out how to change it!

It's very frustrating. I've followed all the instructions that I can find on the 1Password site but nothing works.

Please help. (Be aware that her previous email is no longer active.)

Thanks for the reply. It looks like you're using the desktop app, you'll need to use 1Password.com in the browser instead. Follow these steps in order:

Log in to your wife's 1Password account on 1Password.com (in the browser, not the app).
Click on her name in the top right corner and then click My Profile.
Click Change Email on the left hand side of the page. Follow the prompts.

If one of these steps doesn't work then let me know which one and I can help further.

Thank you, Dave. Unfortunately, I've already tried that. But our 1Password looks very different to that guide. (see attached) Playing around with it a bit more, I managed to change her email address in her identity (used for forms). (BTW, the instructions you refer to say that if you are in a family account, the family organiser needs to change it.) I logged in to the webpage for my account but I can't change the email associated with her account--I'm not sure what the implications of this are, but it is frustrating that I can't simply do it!

Thanks Dave. I did sort it using those steps. But was frustrated that 1) I couldn't do it from my end as the family organiser; and 2) that I then had to log in using the secret code on her computer to do it. Why it can't be done in the app surprises me--surely this is a secure place to do it.

I do love the app and this is one of the few times when I have got frustrated with it.
