Getting rid of inaccessible vault

One of my computers contains a shared vault for my church, where I formerly served as treasurer. I no longer have access to the vault and I would like to get rid of it. How do I do it?

Hello @foates77! 👋

Thanks for the question! Can you tell me a little more about the situation? Did the church add you to their 1Password membership as a user or a guest? If they did, and you no longer need access to that account, then you can sign out: Sign out of 1Password

Note: Signing out of an account will remove all vaults that are part of that account from your device. Make sure that you've moved any items that you need to retain access to into your personal 1Password account before signing out of the church account.

If I misunderstood then please let me know.

I don't know whether I was added as a user or as a guest. However, the church vault shows only on my laptop; it does not show on my desktop or iPhone, which are synched to the laptop. If I sign out of 1Password on the laptop, will that sign me out on the other devices? If not, how do I get 1Password back on the laptop? (I do have the secret key.)

@foates77

Thank you for the reply. If you sign out of 1Password on one device, that won't sign you out of your other devices.

Before signing out of any account from the 1Password app, make sure that you're signed into 1Password on another device and can see all of your items there.
