GitHub Student Developer Pack offer authentication error

GitHub Student Developer Pack offer authentication error

I’m trying to redeem the 1Password offer included with the GitHub Student Developer Pack, but I’m unable to get past the GitHub authentication step.

When I click “Sign in with GitHub”, I get the following error:

“Something went wrong — We weren't able to authenticate with your GitHub account.”

I also checked the browser console and found these errors:

net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

TypeError: Failed to fetch

I’ve already contacted 1Password Support about this issue. My Support ID is 744594.

Has anyone else experienced this issue when trying to redeem the GitHub Student Developer Pack offer? Any advice on what might be causing the authentication failure would be appreciated.
