Google Passkey not usable on iPhone

I have a passkey set for my Google account, but when I try to sign in and select the passkey option from a device, it opens on my phone but the only option there is the MS authenticator. There is no Google passkey in that app, and the phone doesn't give me a prompt or option to select the one stored in 1Password.

I'm sorry that you're unable to sign in to your Google account using a passkey. As a first step, make sure that 1Password is set as your iPhone's password and passkey manager for AutoFill:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap General > AutoFill & Passwords.
  3. Turn on AutoFill Passwords and Passkeys.
  4. Turn on 1Password.


Then, follow these steps to sign in using your passkey: Use 1Password to save logins and sign in to apps and websites on your iPhone and iPad

If that doesn't work then open the main 1Password app from your iPhone's Home Screen and find your Login item for your Google account. Do you see a passkey saved in the Login item?
