Question

Hope can set exceptions for auto sign-in after auto fill

This function works well most of the time, but when I'm trying to signing into online banking website, which will ask for a mobile-app-generated security code (instead of password) after entered username, the auto sign-in feature will make a failed attempt.
If I can set a auto sign-in exception for the online banking entry, or for the site domain, it'd be better.

Hello @xkww3n1, thank you for writing in. I'm sorry about the trouble. I understand the usefulness of turning off Autosubmit for specific websites. I've passed along your feedback to the team.

Can you share the website URL so I can report the behaviour to our development team? In the meantime, I suggest https://support.1password.com/getting-started-browser/#use-drag-and-drop-to-fill-in-apps the username from the 1Password extension pop-over into the field or temporarily turning off the Autosubmit feature. Here's how:

  1. Right-click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and select the Settings option.
  2. In the Autofill & save section, turn off the Sign in automatically after autofill option.

I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thank you @xkww3n1. I couldn't access the Security Code page.

So that I can submit the details to our development team, I would like to request that you send me the collected page structure to mailto:support+forum@1Password.com.

With your email, please include the following:

  • A link to this thread: https://1password.community/discussion/146518
  • Your forum username: xkww3n
  • The collected page structure:
  • Navigate to the security code page on HSBC's website.
  • Right-click the Security Code field and select 1Password - Password Manager > Help > Collect Page Structure.
  • Attach the JSON file to your email.

After emailing in, you'll receive a reply from BitBot, our friendly robot assistant with a Support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678]. Post that here, and I’ll be able to locate your message and make sure it’s gotten to the right place.

I look forward to hearing from you.

@1P_Evon Unfortunately, right click is disabled on the Security Code page, so I can’t provide that info.

@xkww3n1,

Alternatively, you can right-click the 1Password icon in your browser's toolbar and select Help > Collect Page Structure. Can you let me know if that works?
