How to attach a documement to an existing item in 1Password.com?

Currently, it is only possible to attach files to existing items using the 1Password app. Files can only be uploaded as document items on 1Password.com and cannot be attached to existing items stored in your vault: https://support.1password.com/files/

While I can't provide any guarantees or timelines for implementation, I've shared your feedback about this with our Product team.

I'm sorry for the hiccup. Hopefully, this is something we can improve on in the future.

The new and upcoming vault view, currently available as beta and being offered to everyone (at least for me), allows attaching files to any item. It works exactly as in the desktop app.

@1P_Dave I can confirm that the web version attaches files using your link the same as the Windows application does.

I look forward to when this becomes generally available so all my users can use it.
